Schism Exoskeleton
Schism is an artisanal performance wear brand based in New York City. I helped create the visual world for their latest drop "Exoskeleton", which explored the vulnerability athletes must endure when pursuing excellence. The "Exoskeleton" race singlet is meant to provide support and protection in the heat of battle.
I worked with the founder to create a world that showcased the mindset and emotions a runner would feel when training day in and day out to achieve their goal. We decided on a minimal and high contrast set that represented the fortified runner's mind. The framing and motion showcased the pure effort of athletes to the point of exhaustion. Simple but effective. Create a stark image that would make you stop and feel your own will to achieve.
